DQ Books is an online publishing project that has produced a series of collaborations between illustrators and photographers.
The presentation is really quite beautiful – each project is presented as a separate book that you can flick through at your leisure (complete with “swish” sound as the pages turn) to the strains of a found sound collage.
The book interface is a neat conceat, but I’m not certain if this site necessarily amounts to anything more than an online picture gallery. Whatever, it’s got neat interface design, pixel perfect Flash programming and some occasionally arresting imagery.
